The NDIS Commission oversees the compliance of their obligations by suppliers through periodic audits, the monitoring of incidents and restrictive practices of suppliers, the submission of reports to the Commission, the evaluation of NDIS workers, and the adoption of measures in response to complaints against suppliers and workers. The NDIA will also detect and investigate allegations of fraud.
There is no cost for participants who choose to have their NDIS plan “managed by a plan.” In fact, the NDIA will allocate additional funding to the “Better Living Choices” category of its NDIS plan to cover the costs of hiring a plan administrator. The NDIS publishes new price agreements and price limits every fiscal year (July 1 to June 30) to reflect the new cost of services in the market.
